scratch jr Program March 14, 2018
Excitement was all around for our third session of ScratchJr. In this session, the
families started the session off right with a delicious nutritious meal. Then the
parents and the students were off to different classrooms to discuss the engineering
design process and learning how it applies to writing code and working with
ScratchJr. The parents had a discussion about STEAM and it's relation to the
engineering design process while the students used the engineering design process
to make and create paper airplanes. Then they tested and modified them to
improve their flying potential. After the separate discussions, the families were
reunited and worked on using the engineer design process to create a project
